What’s Next

My studio has been long overdue for a clean up and reorganization. I have spent the week doing just that and am still not through. but it is slowly becoming a place I want to be in again. All summer I worked out in my yard creating my body of encaustics . It was a wonderful summer, but ultimately  my studio became a dumping ground.

I rewarded my organization efforts yesterday by creating a small landscape painting. It was I piece I started while giving a demo in Lake Geneva, and came across it in my cleaning endeavors.

Gamblin Oil’s are still my favorite, bright intense colors which can easily be grayed down if needed, but I like the full intensity !
